For the current Ford Mustang 5.0 V8, the most popular US sports car in Germany and Europe, we have developed a complete sports exhaust system that differs significantly from the products already on the market.
Our engineers and technicians opted for a pipe cross-section of 70 mm throughout and a special layout that takes into account the firing order of the two cylinder banks and thus ensures a homogeneous bundling of the exhaust jet. The original center silencer is omitted and replaced by a specially designed, in-house X-pipe. An X-pipe for the Mustang 5.0 was previously only offered by Ford Racing, but only without the mandatory ABE in this country.
Instead of the 85 mm diameter of the standard tailpipes, we decided to use 100 mm pipes, which are rolled up and welded to an internal booster. This special design allows extreme heat to be dissipated from the outer tips, preventing the tailpipes from annealing. In this way, our sports exhaust system retains its high-quality appearance over the entire service life of the system, which is significantly longer than with the original system made of steel components.
Conversion to the NAP Manufaktur sports exhaust system is quick and easy thanks to the attachment with two exhaust clamps.

This special design allows extreme heat to be dissipated from the outer tips, preventing the tailpipes from annealing. In this way, our sports exhaust system retains its high-quality appearance over the entire service life of the system, which is significantly longer than with the original system made of steel components.
Tailpipes in the “polished stainless steel” version are finished with a NAP logo laser engraving.
