Advantages of the Composite Monospring Composite monosprings are the ideal replacement for aging multi-leaf steel springs. Made from unidirectional fibers bonded with a special epoxy matrix, they deliver better ride quality, faster response, and longer durability than conventional steel springs. By nature, the fiberglass spring is more elastic than steel. And thanks to its one-piece design—as opposed to the multi-layered steel spring—the fiberglass spring resists fatigue better than steel springs.
